Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are the workshops free to attend?

All ArtEMi workshops implemented from September 2022 up until August 2024, are open and free to attend – as long as they are active. The results from the workshops will remain indefinitely free of charge. After the end of the ArtEMi project, each partner organisation chooses how to proceed, so it is better to contact the organisation that is based on your city to see if they have are continuing the workshops.

02. Are art workshops available for refugee women?

Yes, ArtEMi offers art workshops specifically designed to empower and support women/femininities that consider themselves outside of decision making processes, excluded from social structures and/or needing a familiar support circle – i.e. wanting to get support to feel empowered and emancipated. Although the main focus are migrant women, this doesn’t excluded non-migrants as long as they can accept co-existing on the same learning and creative space – and the rest of the society!

03. How can I contribute to ArtEMi’s mission?

You can contribute to ArtEMi’s workshops by participating in the workshops, following and interacting with us through social media, registering as a stakeholder, organising similar workshops, sharing your knowledge, or raising awareness about the activities.
